Wind farm made by 6 wind turbines with 4,9 MW power each
Among the green hills of the island of Sicily, the La Conca project was born. This wind farm consists of 6 wind turbines, each with a power of 4,9 MW, located in Western Sicily and affecting the territories of Menfi, Sambuca di Sicilia and Sciacca.
The areas where the wind turbines will be built are part of a purely agricultural context, particularly suited to the production of energy from renewable sources. The topographic and geomorphological configuration presents a hilly trend, characterized by reliefs of medium steepness, such as to limit the visibility of the plant. The annual energy production will meet the annual energy needs of about 30.000 families.
